I’m SO glad you two finally started a food and wine blog — it’s about time! You’re two of the most passionate cooks (and eaters) I know. Looking forward to hearing more about your gastronomic adventures in the Northwest.

I”m so excited to have found your blog! I’m up the road a bit in Wilsonville, and am always excited to follow local foodies! I’ve been living here in the Willamette Valley for two years now, and this year I had my first vegetable garden. I can’t wait to explore your recipes more!

Melissa – the photo on your website is beautiful. Is that the Willamette flowing through or by your farm?
      Thanks for visiting. Charles

    Hi Victor and Charles!

I just now discovered your site from Charles’ post on Facebook…beautifully described and illustrated. Victor, we go back a ways, and I never realized you are a fellow foodie! Please let me know if you’d ever like to be guest columnists on Life as Art. We celebrate passion and creativity and will submit the technologically sophisticated site for a personal website Webby.

    Cheers, ~Audrey

    Charles and Victor,
I have fond memories of dinners at your home in Ft. Worth. I’m glad to see that you are sharing your talents with the world! Reading your blog makes me think…..perhaps Mark and I will travel to Oregon for our 20th wedding anniversary this summer. (wouldn’t that be fun!) I’ve always wanted to go diving in British Columbia…..!
Happy holidays and keep on cookin!
